Today we welcome CTS’s newest team member, Jake Verdien. As our Quality Control Apprentice, he will inspect manufactured components ensuring the highest quality for CTS kiosks.

How do you drink your coffee?
With a splash of milk and sugar.

Best place you’ve traveled to this year?
Colorado. I went camping and on some hiking trails, but didn’t see any animals! It was my first time out of Wisconsin. The mountains were great, and inspired my new tattoo!

What are you listening to?
The Strokes, Electric Light Orchestra and Brockhampton.

What are you watching?
Nothing really, I play video games like League of Legends and Magic Arena.

What was your 1st job?
I worked as a cook at a bar and grill.

Favorite restaurant?
Ian’s Pizza.

How many office pups have you met so far?
2 – George and Shadow!

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen

Who is on your ideal dinner party guest list? And why?
Elon Musk – because he’s crazy.
Carole Shelby – because he made the Shelby Mustang and GT40, who beat Ferrari in La Mans.
Barack Obama – because he was the first president where I was old enough to realize what was going on.

You’ve got 30 days of vacation and an unlimited budget – where are you going?
Road trip around the US on a motorcycle, driving from Florida until I make it to the Arctic Circle (which will probably take longer than a month!).

Bonus question! What are you most looking forward to in your new role at CTS?
I’m looking forward to advancing and becoming comfortable in the position to the point where I know what I’m doing and have confidence in that.
