QC – FAB Specialist

The QC-FAB Specialist is responsible for receiving, inspecting and stocking all incoming/outgoing fabricated and fully assembled parts. This position works closely with the supply chain team to ensure the accuracy and usability of all fabricated inventory. The QC-FAB Specialist is an integral part of the success of the assembly, supply chain, and shipping/receiving teams.

  • Receive, inspect and stock all incoming fabricated parts, ensuring they are within tolerance allowances
  • Inspect outgoing units against production releases to ensure accurate assembly
  • Inspect outgoing units to ensure fit and finish meet CTS quality standards
  • Track and maintain all necessary information in order to complete pull sheets for released jobs in production and physical counts as directed by management
  • Ensure rework is communicated and funneled through to the appropriate department(s) in a timely manner
  • Responsible for ensuring glamour shots are scheduled and completed
  • Maintain organization of all stock fabricated parts
  • Work collaboratively with management and purchasing to resolve part discrepancies/tolerance concerns
  • Fosters strong cohesiveness regardless of issues that arise
  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned by management


  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Ability to apply knowledge of best practices in Quality Assurance. Indirect Purchasing, Supply Base, or Supply Chain and how their own area integrates with others to drive results
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a group or team providing guidance to members
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage time appropriately
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, both verbally and written
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in an IT environment preferred
  • Associates Degree preferred
